  • Golfing: It occurs in Gulmarg. There is a large18-hole golf course with lavish green lawn in The ideal time of golfing is may to September.
  • Angling: This activity takes place in the Dal Lake of Kashmir Valley and in the streams like rivers Jhelum, Bhingri, Sindh and Lidder. The best timing is in the months of September and October and May and June.
  • Heli-Skiing: It is a great exploratory activity. Kashmir ranks second in this regard. The best time for Heli-skiing is during winter months.
  • Water- Skiing: The well-known places for water-skiing are Dal Lake and Nagin lake.
  • Skiing: For skiing the eminent places are Gulmarg and Khilanmarg. The appropriate timing is from November to February.
  • Snow Boarding: Again Gulmarg and Khilanmarg are famous spots for snow boarding.
  • Ice-Skating: it is ‘best enjoyed in the months of January and February. The places popular for this activity are Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Srinagar in Kashmir.
  • Mountaineering: The best place for this activity is the Nun-Kun peak in Ladakh. The ideal timing is June to September.
  • River Rafting: The best place for river rafting is the Indus river in Ladakh along with its tributaries.
  • Trekking: Well known trekking tracks are situated around Leh and Ladak.

Ladakh – It is called the Little Tibet.. The distance between Ladak and Srinagar is 231.07 kilometers and can be travelled by car and bus. The prevalent culture is Buddhist Culture here.

Sonamarg-Popularly called The meadow of Gold in the Sind Valley region of Kashmir. Sonmarg is 79.7 kilometres away from Srinagar, and the journey time is1.31 hours by road. It is a major Trekking center.

Pahalam– Called the Valley of Shepherds. It is 96 kilometers from east of Srinagar. It is situated at the confluence of streams of Lidder River and Sheesnag lake. The places of attraction here are Baisaran and Hajan.

Gulmarg-Gulmarg is 50.8 kilometers away from Srinagar and takes 1.10hours by road.s the main mountain resort and golf course.
