MicroSoft Windows 10 Operating System
Microsoft has revealed its new operating system Windows 10. In a simple event on Tuesday microsoft showed a preview of windows 10 operating system.
Windows 10 interface has been designed for various platforms like mobiles, PCs and Tablets. The initial design is quite innovative, especially the “start menu” . Windows 10 can be used on all three platforms. In the first look It feels like a combination of Windows 7 and Windows 8 the two most widely used operating systems from Microsoft.
Terry Myerson the Executive Vice President of Microsoft said that “Windows 10 will deliver the right experience on the right device at the right time” and he also added “Windows 10 will run on the broadest types of devices ever.”
Windows 9 Launch
The experts were expecting the launch of Windows 9 after windows 8. Windows 8 was not as successful as Windows 7 was, still many of user found windows 7 better than windows 8 due to it’s unfriendly User Interface. However, Microsoft tried to resolve issues of windows 8 in 8.1 version but still it can’t convince users to upgrade the older operating system.
Review and Features of Windows 10
Right now the windows 10 is available for review purpose only, it will be fully launched by next year mid. there is no specific date or time given by MS officials.

Features or what’s new in Windows 10
Roll back of Start Menu – The special UI feature of the latest Windows 10 is now you can see and use “Start menu” similarly like in earlier versions of windows. Microsoft has merged the start menu and metro style (tiled screen style) in the start button menu.
Less Metro Style User Interface – Although when metro style UI was launched in windows 8 it was liked by everyone in a first look but it is not user friendly, in windows 10 Microsoft has used less metro style screen. Full screen metro style was the biggest drawback of windows 8.
Extended Search – Windows 10 has extended search function, it will not only show the computer storage files for searched term, but also show the search engine (bing) results from internet. (I guess this is another way to increase the searches on Bing)
Touchmode: There are still not much touchscreen laptop users, but still windows 10 has given this feature in laptop/desktop version as well.
Task View – This feature will show the opened programs/tasks in small thumbs in taskbar. alike in Windows 7.

When it will be available in market?
The company has only launched the preview version of windows 10. According to experts, it will be available in the market by mid next year i.e 2015.
